10 Excel Add-In
The TDengine IDMP Excel Add-In lets you retrieve time-series data and element attributes directly in Microsoft Excel without writing any code or SQL. Once installed, the TDengine EAI ribbon tab gives you access to current values, historical data, aggregated results, event browsing, and asset metadata — all output directly into spreadsheet cells.

The TDengine IDMP Excel Add-In allows you to retrieve time-series data and element attributes directly inside Microsoft Excel, without writing any code or SQL.
📄️ Certificate Configuration
The Excel Add-In connects to IDMP over HTTPS, which requires a valid SSL certificate. IDMP ships with a built-in test certificate valid for 3 months, suitable for quick evaluation. For long-term use without frequent certificate renewal, you can generate a self-signed certificate with an extended validity period (e.g., 10 years).

After installing the Excel Add-In, you need to open it in Excel and sign in to your IDMP instance before you can retrieve data.
📄️ Using the Add-In
Once connected to IDMP, the TDengine EAI ribbon tab provides all the tools for retrieving data, exploring events, filtering assets, and configuring the add-in. Each button opens a task pane on the right side of Excel where you configure the query and select an output cell.
